What it measures
A variant of Chaikin Money Flow that measures each bar against the true range (so gaps are counted) and uses smooth exponential averaging instead of a fixed window. −1 to +1.
How traders use it
- Above zero is accumulation, below zero distribution.
- Divergence with price, and crossings of zero, as with Chaikin Money Flow, but with fewer sudden jumps when an old bar drops out of the window.
